Pros & Cons
Pros
Drain catcher catches all hair with conditioner/shampoo still on it. Luckily there was no mold, but just a bit of grime from shampoo and the permanent drain cover.
I have it suctioned to the wall using 1 or 2 of the cups for drying when not in use. Suction is good. The only issue is that sometimes the suction doesn't hold during long showers but it is easy to restick. Sometimes my shower backs up with water and ... Read More
It's kind of one of those things you can't believe never existed before because it feels like such a simple, obvious solution. Unquestionably. My guy. This works exactly as i had hoped!
Cons
Holes are too large and do not catch hair unless the hair is in a big clump. Immediately turned another color, warped, did not keep suction to rub. Every time i turn on the water, it floats away.
The biggest flaw in this is the discoloration and mold growth that quickly occurs on this. There’s one tiny spot of white left underneath but otherwise dingy, ugly yellow. It gets gunky, slimy on the bottom.
This product is hugely flawed. Do not spend your money on this product. Do not buy. Beware of product. It's completely pointless.
Highlights
Quality
I’d recommend this for anyone that wants to keep their plumbing clean with a quality product without much hassle.
It’s durable, well designed, effective and the plastic is thick enough that it feels like a quality product for the price.
An excellent product but ordered 4 and all sent/boxed separately!
Packaging/appearance
Catches hair in the shower that otherwise would be clogging the drain.
This product seems to be keeping most of it out of the drain without creating a pool of water in the shower.
I’ve tried the mushroom one and a mesh one that sits in the drain.
Turns yellow after a while which is kinda off putting but it does stop hair from going down the drain
Competitiveness
It’s the best option i have found at a much lower price.
I look down and this drain catcher has caught all my wife's hair with conditioner/shampoo still on it.
Then i tried to buy a cheaper version.
