It runs cool and quiet of course i doubt the stereo is really taxing the wattage limit of this unit either and doesnt appear to emit any significant amount of rf interference since the stereo has no problem receiving even am stations despite the transformer sitting less than a foot away from it

Tech support contacted me and they confirmed issue is because printer when powered on in an idle state connected will send reverse electrical waves causing the units internal coils to vibrate assuring this is not anything dangerous
