The design of the top depends on a poly o-ring/washer to spring the lid open. However, the problem with this top is that the clear plastic portion isn't durable. I keep replacing these but they keep breaking.

Love to be able to buy a replacement lid, instead of having to buy the whole bottle.
But the tops break very easily, l have bought 3 so far

I was a little put off by the price, but ponied up.

Fits perfect for the 24 oz thermos; and also, the prime delivery was really fast.

These ua steel bottles are great so i will probably keep buying ua bottles andor new tops for them until the stainless steel rusts away sometime in the next millennia

When i drop my full water bottle on the lid it breaks so i have to replace it
