Pros & Cons
Pros
L boxer briefs are great workout shorts. They're durable and last a long time even with frequent use and washing.
Cons
These shorts chafe a lot. The best support is no pouch. Just compress everything please.
The quality is horrible! Holes in the mesh on the inner thigh after 1 wear. The seams are painful when the tip of the twig finds them. The seam is different in these; rubs on my upper they in the back.

They're durable and last a long time even with frequent use and washing.
However, all of them have started losing the printed letters after only 2 uses.
Embossed letters have worn off after 10 wear and wash cycles, no big deal to me.
Price
A bit pricey, but they serve their purpose well.
These were on sale during purchase and were much cheaper than another spandex type boxer brief i was previously using.
Competitiveness
Just like the rest of ua good stuff
I've gone through/returned so many and different brands as well because they were too small/too big/too loose/too tight/uncomfortable/etc.
Husband likes wider waistband and slightly longer leg length than other brand tried.
Material has a heavier feel than some other ua products.
