I got him the xl tall and it may have been an inch too long for him but thats better than too short

Note that there is an elastic type band on the bottom and sleeves so if you like the bottom of your fence to be loose that may bother you

Its slim but not compressionlike plus its long enough to go a few inches lower than the waist as it looks in the picture
