These socks are great i wear them mostly with my boots but sometimes just to keep my feet warm at home the way they snug to my feet and ankles is great putting them on the first time i was surprised how difficult it was but once i wore them i didnt want to wear any other kind of sock after getting used to these wearing the other socks i had basic white socks with the dark grey padding on the bottom i dont recall what brand but got them at walmart however they felt rough on my feet now compared to these
