If you are also flat footed do yourself a favor and ditch the ortholite insoles that come with the shoes they look like theyre just made of slightly higher density memory foam and while that might be comfortable for people with a normal or mid arch they do not offer much support for those that need it

As for these being 4e width they seem like they are wide but mainly only around the toe box

But they will not take abuse so if you have to chase someone through brush or vegetation the boots wont like it and wont protect you too much from a stick jabbing your foot from the top or sides and then you can kiss appearance standards goodbye if that happens
