Pros

The sock holds tightly (not an uncomfortable tightness) around my calf muscle. They feel thin for hot weather comfort (as described) but still fairly substantial. The foot is fairly well padded too.

Long shaft to knee height is perfect for pecos, western, engineer, or other laceless boots. Use these as a liner sock for whicking under my primary sock in my waders and hunting boots. I am a size 14 and xl fits up to knee if pulled tight.

Cons

Not only are these socks thin and not very cushioned causing hot spots and blisters, the material they are made of is slippery inside a boot causing foot fatigue. They are 74% polyester and 23% cotton according to the label they come with.
