They are made longer so it can convert to racerback but it is nearly impossible to put onuse in racerback mode and not comfortable straps are too constricting around neck in this mode
Would have been willing to compromise and wear it for lighter activities at the gym however this also fit weird in the armpit area for me and kinda felt like it was going to rubcut in
