It sharpens pencils perfectly, as per all the other reviews. The sharpening angle creates a slightly longer point than one created by the * automatic 2-step sharpener. The point is so long and precise it feels like i don’t have to sharpen as often.

Another great product from mitsubishi pencil company. Would definitely recommend, too, although a bit too pricey. This one does it beautifully.

It does a great job on graphite, colored pencils, and watercolor pencils. Bought this for my colored pencils based on youtube's crafty queen, kristina werner. Prismacolors are prone to breakage and this sharpener hasn't broken one yet.

If you detest the nonmechanical, finger turn razor blade models, this is 100% worth it. The single cutting blade is a multi-blade helical type which gives an exceptionally clean cut. There are two sharpness settings.

Our impression is that the helical cutter looks to be out of line. It also cuts the casing unevenly, scarfing off one side of the finish to a greater depth than the other. Manufacturer is only out to gouge the consumer.
