Pros & Cons
Pros
The graphite itself is smooth and offers a visual difference from one grade to the next, comparable to tonal values of other graphite brands. This lead lasts longer than the hb due to the hardness, without a noticeable change in writing/sketching, oth... Read More
These are fantastic with the associated mitsubishi pen and sharpener. If you are looking for the perfect lead to take school notes without having to sharpen every ten seconds, this is the one you want. This mech is the all around best design in genera... Read More
It is durable, in that i have owned it for almost two years. No problems with breaking when sharpening, even using a budget lead holder in a name brand rotary action lead pointer.
The grip section is ever-so-slightly thinner than the fattest part of a staedtler 780's grip. It has a great balance of weight, hanging to the beak. Body holds lead firmly with zero slippage or wobble.
Cons
Mitsubishi lead holder feels so cheap, so disappointing. Minimal packaging genuinely makes me wonder if i got a genuine product or a knock-off. This is the classic pencil that is going to break at the steel-plastic transition.
Highlights
Quality
Simple and holds lead well - no complaints

It is only the pen with the one lead, the first time i ordered it got lost and had to be reordered.
Lead is very sturdy and break resistant.
Price
For roughly six bucks, this can't be beat.
So, i can save some money by getting these.
Some very good ones even being priced as low as 6 or 7 dollars.
Not a huge deal since you can load the pieces into a lead holder without issue, but it's not the desired condition.
Shipping
Not one complaint here and was surprised at fast shipping
I wish us retailers carried these, just to reduce shipping time, but they are worth the wait.
Writes well the item was recieved five days early.
Packaging/appearance
And unlike the 4b leads i recently ordered, all 6 of the leads in this container were perfectly intact when they arrived.

I find it comparable to staedtler's technico in terms of both weight, comfort, and balance.
However, for the price it is an amazing deal, slightly better than the staedtler mars technico but cheaper.
The knurling on the grip section is more aggressive than several other brands i've tried.
