Pros
Antenna is 6”, with ‘uniden bearcat’ embossed on the top of the shaft. Has standard inverted sma connecter, that uniden uses on the bcd 396 t / xt / and a few other handhelds.
Cons
The picture for this item shows a female screw on type and i received a bnc connector type. This antenna isn’t an oe antenna for the bcd436hp and other digital scanners. Will get sent back for refund.

It fit perfectly, seems well made & sturdy and the scanner seems to work as well as with the original.
This antenna is an identical replacement and my scanner works.
