Pros

Its compact and light and after some toying with becomes easily navigable. To give you an idea on the authenticity of this review its top notch. Definately a quality product.

Good reception with stock antenna and all the functions of the bigger brother uniden base scanners for the most part. Decoding digital p25 and dmr is fantastic. Works like a champ in my big city.

Once programmed, the bcd325p2 is great to use.

Get at least 8 rechargeable and a 4 battery recharger with it. Keep extra rechargable battiers on hand in case. Also get good nimh batteries. Link to batteries https://www.

The time savings of downloading over manually entering data is enormous. Operation is easy to manage and navigate. There's also a forum for beginners where experienced users answer questions.
