Pros

Uniden ka is a great radar detector for the price. It picks up radar from so far away it's unbelievable.

It’s well worth the money. Worth every penny. Good detector for the price. Good unit for the money. Hope the electronics inside last.

Cons

After that they are pretty much useless because you would have to constantly stare at it. I'm sure you can find a more honorable company to do business with and this uniden will go in the trash.

Excellent range pickup and 360 degree coverage.

This detects laser-but they have your speed before it sounds (fyi this is true for all radar detectors).

Almost every time it goes off, there is a cop, and there are almost never false alarms.

$$$ the range is also excellent too, including over hills and around curves.

Over the years, i tried and toyed with at least 5 other radar/laser brands and some costing 3 times more than my uniden.

Nothing compares to a uniden detector, under $350 other brands, no matter the uniden model.
