Pros

Had this for over a year now. Mute feature for reoccurring false positives is awesome. Love it. Literally saves me everyday.

K band and ka band are the two in my area. It picks up ka band usually at least 3 miles out. It is nice that it shows your gps mph, almost like a poor man's hud. I live in az where car temps can reach in excess of 120 degrees and the device still work... Read More

Cons

Radar is too heavy for these 2 * suction cups. Only good thing about this radar is the ka band (frequency most troopers use in jersey) is very accurate and detects from about a mile out. This detector is terrible with false alarms.

The mute button only mutes it for 15-30s before it's beeping again. The more annoying issue is at the school zone, the unit keep warning loudly even at middle of night, and there is no way to mute it.

Competitiveness

I have been able to own several different radar detectors and this is one of the best bang for your buck detectors that you can buy.

I didn’t want to drop 500+ on a main brand one and instead looked for a more entry level radar scanner.

Overall, in terms of range and accuracy i would compare this to some of the higher-end escort radars.
