Pros

The sound and radio display is excellent! Results may vary, it's radio, and depends on line of sight and propagation. I have an external antenna on my vehicle and it seems to work well with that. Gets great reception and seems to pickup better and fas... Read More

The touchscreen is very easy to use and navigate. The sentinel software makes it very easy to operate. Quick lookup online for your local and of-interest frequencies, manually enter them as favorites.

The radio is easy to program using your zip code. Put it on a 10 mile radius and you still get traffic from all over.

Cons

Uniden homepatrol-2 has a known issue with the clock settings - it resets every time you start the unit. Reception is no better than my two realistic pro 2005’s that are over 20 years old. Can not save your own frequencies out of the box.

Do not buy. Nothing, nada, zip. I thought i was upgrading my old scanner, but now i’m no better off after spending $400. Get something else.

I have a 436 and this form factor/touch screen is great for a desk or bed side if you want to keep an ear on things.
