Pros

The k and ka band detector is very accurate and easy to use. The gps memory setting is amazing. It detects laser instantaneously and gives you enough time to react before the laser can get a lock on you. It's a great way to keep an eye out for k and k... Read More

The uniden r3 works great. Check vortex radar for correct setup config because there are about 30 different parameters.

This thing is a champ. Once it's dialed in, it's excellent! It has plenty of range and so far has never let me down. I enjoy the fact that this is a very small and lightweight detector.

Cons

This thing goes off alot and alot of the times its false alarm. It has very little range of motion on the lever that pulls the suction.

Months, i assume i had received a dud. They want your money and the insurance companies want them to nail you so they can get more of your money.

Uniden will not repair under warranty. Sent back requesting a new delivery of same unit. Fee is nonrefundable.

The mount suctioned great to my windshield, it feels secure and sturdy.

Great lr accuracy and you can set up options to curb false alerts.

Also don’t expect it to save you from laser if it goes off for laser and your speeding it’s too late but that’s with most detectors

This thing picks up radar pointed at you from about half a mile away, even more on very flat stretches.

Price

Color change is awesome as u can match it to your interiordon’t think twice by saving yourself thousands for less than $300

This appears to provide tremendous value and ability.

Granted it was a cheap $100 +/- detector.

This thing has saved me sooomuch money if i didn't have this i more than likely wouldn't have a license

I don’t like relying on others or having to wait (waited over 14 days and still no message) so i returned and bought a r8.
