Pros & Cons
Pros
The bc125at is a good scanner for the money. The only thing i dislike in this day and age of cheap miniature digital chips is there are no labels/tones for channels. Bought this to replace my old radio shack pro 94.
The scanner itself is solid and easy to program. When its setup and programming is done via a computer using the provided software and usb cable, it is very easy to re-program the unit as needed. Multiple setup files can be stored on the computer, mak... Read More
Cons
This scanner is incredibly inconvenient to program. The rechargeable batteries have to be n mh. Could not use it and also stopped scanning.

Perfect size & easy to program… definitely like this scanner…
This does not support bluetooth out of the box.
Only thing i wish it was able to receive digital as well.
Price
For the price this is a great scanner and am glad i bought it.
This hand-held is truly a great value.
This one won't do that; the one that will is $339.
95 to rent a scanner at a race, and it must be returned when you leave.
Shipping
In a few hours i had found all of the local police, fire, and analog ems frequencies and got them programmed in.
Packaging/appearance
It looked new but did not come in the original box.
Competitiveness
My go to scanner died and i didn't want to spend top dollar for a brand marketed to hams.
Note: as far as i know at this point, ham repeaters have to have both freqs entered manually in a scan bank or order to hear both.
