Internal speaker is horrid so i have an external connected and its great

Scanning and storing frequencies is not difficult to do either

If you want to do a lot of manual entering frequencies however you will find it frustating since there are no number keys

It has some drawbacks too no direct frequency entry keypad so entering frequencies is clumsy you have to scroll through them or let it scan for while till it gets close and then get the exact frequency with the updown buttons before you can store one
