Pros

It's fairly easy to install, has the weather channel and the distress button. Attach globalsat pin5 tx to uniden nmea_in+.

With one button push, the radio now displays latitude, longitude, heading and speed in knots. The multi channel scan feature is very nice if you only have one radio. Needs an external speaker if your boat is louder.

Cons

Customer service is non-existent. As of now i’ve been ghosted for a week. Can’t get anything other than white noise from squelch.
