Cons

Limped to the end with the left one badly warped, though still in one piece. Luckily the from still gripped ok, but a blowout within the first mile is unacceptable. Spent the next 8 miles slipping on my heel along the trail.

The chain links connecting the rubber to the rest of the chain fails. Size xl is the largest i can buy? They only seem to really work with boots. I recommend looking for some that do not have these tightly bent double links.

Quality economical traction device that our employees can wear to help reduce dangerous slips and fall on ice and snow

The metal cleats are long enough they don't get soon filled with ice (and turned into rounded nubs, as with the other "star" shaped cleats.

Competitiveness

This is the second pair of unigear snow grips that i have purchased.

I bought a no-name yaktrax knock off & wires began breaking in a week.

I'm less likely to fall feel more sucure walking with them on
