This is my first phone without a physical keyboard. The battery life is astounding. The phone is very sturdy and rugged feeling. Gboard keyboard is a good size that cuts down on typos.

Did some extensive research on rugged cell phones and only a fraction of the phones i found are compatible with the verizon network
