It fit under the aisle seat on an airbus 320 and airbus 321 with ease. The main compartment has a really wide opening and it makes it really easy to find what you are looking for.

The zippers open and close easily but stay closed unless you manually open them

The osprey on the other hand reminds me of my beloved but impractical duluth pack roll top scout pack witch has a similar bucket design that makes it inconvenient to quickly grab my stuff

They snap back tight enough that you never have to worry about your bottle falling out but theyre not so tight that you cant easily reach your water even while wearing the bag
