Pros & Cons
Pros
Loosen the old belt, remove old tensioner, bolt on new tensioner with included t nuts, attach belt and tighten. The only modification i had to do is the chiron uses one of the bolts from the old pulley wheel mount as it’s x-axis homing stop.
This tensioner is a must for all creality 3d printers. While i like printing mods in general, this is just more solid, easy to adjust and fits the rail and belt perfectly. Metal lasts longer and it gives a more finished appearance.
Cons
New variants are machined with a much looser tolerance. The biggest problem i have with this tensioner is the poor quality idler. The pulley is too small and the belt will run against the 2020 extrusion.

Highlights
Quality
So far i am happy with the quality of this item.
Simple to install and works great to keep the right amount of tension on my ender 3.
Replaced a printed (pla) tensioner on my cr-10 mini that came apart after a year or two of wear and tear.
Within minutes, i had this installed to my ender 3 pro, and belt slack was gone seconds later.

Competitiveness
This was a cheaper option than purchasing a oem part and a much better alternative.
