Pros

Complete kit to fix a road bike or regular bike brake setup. Kit has everything needed to fix up your bike cabling. Process is straightforward and hassle-free.

The kit comes with 8 cable crimps. Two different size sheath are shipped with the product. Had plenty for my ol man's schwinn from the 70's.

The blue brake cables look fantastic and add a nice color to my bike. The variety of color sizes is another reason to purchase this product. They look great she loves the new color.

Cons

Inner liner kinks so what should be a smooth bending transition becomes a hard corner. Rear brake and rear derailleur cables are too short by 6 inches, which makes this kit worthless.

This makes it more likely that a cable will pinch or crimp in normal operation. It also increases friction between the cable and housing which degrades brake performance. Do not buy these cables. They are a total waste and deceptive.

It was a very good deal for the money so not a real problem, and they installed easily enough.

Very happy and the price works for me!

Be sure and use a cutter designed for steel cable, available from amazon for under $15.

And cost a fraction of what some other cables cost!
