It screws down firmly onto the standard sizes threads that are commonly found on the ends of extension poles or broommop handles

That being said there is no antirotation feature like a locking screw or detent that is found on some higher end attachments to keep the adaptor from twisting loose

It has a good weight considering its mainly aluminum when extended 18 i wouldnt want this pole to be lightweight and flimsy

The pole ends in a large threaded post like the kind you screw into the bottom of certain paint rollers
