This issue is compounded if you plan on a multicountry tour as even jumping from the uk and onto the european continent requires different adapters and thus additional outofpocket costs from you

Second on the uk plug design the third plug the ground or solo prong is completely plastic

I am not sure if this is a bad design but i would think that having plastic plugged into an outlet would eventually heat up and melt
