Blade is defintely long enough, which is the problem i've had with typical knives in the kitchen and/or knife blocks.
Price
I debated on buying a knife sharpener with this, as i assumed for this price, it would be pretty dull.
I bought this knife to skin salmon and i found that it works great for that, i think for the price it is a good buy for that i use it for.

I shouldve bought a curved scimitar type slicing blade instead because this blade cant lay flat on my thin and cheap cutting board because the handle hits the counter surface

I just finished a beef round tip roast for my elderly father and sliced it up for him on this amazing knife which likely costs less than many of the roasts it will eventually end up slicing
