Build Quality
Customers are highly satisfied with the build quality of this pasta cooker, praising its solid construction, fine finish, and industrial feel. They appreciate the thick material and sturdy design, making it a worthwhile investment.
Easy Cleanup
Customers are thrilled with the ease of cleanup offered by the Update International 12 Qt Induction Ready Stainless Steel Pasta Cooker. They appreciate its size, which makes cleaning a breeze, and the ability to cook large quantities without making a mess in the kitchen. The insert is also praised for its versatility in cooking beans, stock, and pasta, as well as steaming vegetables.
Induction Compatibility
Customers are generally positive about the induction compatibility of the pasta cooker. Many have reported successful use on their induction stoves, finding it easy to clean and a necessary upgrade after purchasing an induction stove. However, some users noted that it takes longer to heat up due to the larger space between the bottom of the pasta insert and the pot, but appreciate the added thermal inertia for maintaining hot water temperature when cooking large quantities of pasta.
Highlights
Quality
This is very sturdy/thick and industrial feeling.
Works as expected, sturdy design and good materials.
Impressed with the quality even though it’s made in china .
>>handles feel quite solid, but the lack of a good-sized rivet head on the inside of the pot is not reassuring.
Price
Plus my food bill really dropped from 1000$ for 6 people to 650 $ eating lots of fresh veggies which is crazy !
Packaging/appearance
There was a little dent in the bottom side upon receipt.
Competitiveness
The quality of it is similar to many famous brands.
