Pros

Works great much better than orginal version that kept falling off. The sensor in the camera still triggers, as it should.

A much improved eyepiece for z8 or z9 cameras. The cup provides better isolation from stray light. It’s a big plus as well since it blocks out distracting sunlight when using the evf.

Cons

This makes it difficult to press your eye up to the camera particularly when wearing glasses. If you don't you can not see the entirety of the viewfinder display. Disappointed to say the least.

It was a quality product that fit perfectly on the camera and the rubber was comfortable around my eye.

Easy installation, quite comfortable while shooting, even when shooting vertically.

I have to scratch my head that something so simple can't be figured out by some of these purchasers of a 4k camera.

Not a huge deal but just something to be aware of.

Packaging/appearance

Removed the new eye cup from the box and immediately felt and saw the improvements from the original one that i bought!

Competitiveness

I tried the modified deal with another product for this camera model but it didn't work, so i had to wait for this to come on the market.
