Pros & Cons
Pros
Thunderbolt 2 and mini display work exactly the same for this use. Connector from my asus proart laptop to the mini-hdmi on the 4k monitor. The phone work as a mouse and keyboard.
This one is big enough to give me meaningful real estate. Small enough that i don’t feel like the corners are stressed when it is packed.
Cons
Freesync is supposed to quickly turn off and on again to activate the feature. It’s like the feature in not baked on the tv software. Not only are there no screws included, vesa screws do -not- fit.
Highlights
Quality
I am very satisfied with the 4k hdr screen quality and brightness.

Bought this screen less than two months ago and there's a blue line that runs across the screen from side to side.
Price
This is perfect for my needs and the very affordable.
This was the least expensive 2k portable monitor i could find and seems quite good quality.
Mine was like $40 ca, insignia brand, got it at best buy.
Sure, you could pay less, but not for 4k.
Shipping
Customer service is also quick and amazing.

Packaging/appearance
I really appreciated that it came packaged with a variety of cables and was ready to use straight out of the box!
Monitor comes in a nice box with sealed package of cables and a nice cover to protect your monitor.

Competitiveness
It turns out that according to apple, thunderbolt 2 and mini display, while not exactly the same, work exactly the same for this use.
The verdict is that this is probably one of the better choice out there in terms of price / quality.
Even on the device itself, nowhere does it indicate the model number or any branding.
The build is surprisingly light, much lighter than the other brand that i've tried, that is a big plus.
