I am very satisfied with the 4k hdr screen quality and brightness.

I've tested the quality of the monitor against using online tools and it has passed with flying colours.

Bought this screen less than two months ago and there's a blue line that runs across the screen from side to side.

The major flaw is that it doesn't use all of the power coming from the power adapter and so it's constantly charging your laptop.

This is perfect for my needs and the very affordable.

This was the least expensive 2k portable monitor i could find and seems quite good quality.

Mine was like $40 ca, insignia brand, got it at best buy.

Competitiveness

It turns out that according to apple, thunderbolt 2 and mini display, while not exactly the same, work exactly the same for this use.

The resolution is better than a fhd monitor and it complements the laptop that i have very well.

Even on the device itself, nowhere does it indicate the model number or any branding.

I bought another brand's portable monitor in 2023 and returned it since resolution and brightness were just so so, as was the refresh rate.
