Pros
This is a nicely made unit and it seems to work well. Sometimes, this is convenient. For the price its a pretty good and versatile unit.
Cons
Two emails to pyle have no response. Pressing it doesn't do it. Followed instructions and sent it back. Filed for a refund and will send it back tomorrow.
The temperature sensor on it is not particularly accurate and takes ages (literally minutes) to stabilize. The cfm readings are not even close. It just reads zero for cfm or velocity measurements all the time now. Turned it on, but was constantly read... Read More
Book is wrong in many ways from * to use to how to remove the battery. Changed to another batter and nothing. Also warns you of electrical shock if the 9 volt battery cover is not in place.
The reviewer's 30-day return policy expires on september 1. The reviewer believes this is a pr stunt by pyle.

The pma90 works as advertised :i was impressed at the quality of the unit and how user friendly the meter is.
One of the blades on the remote sensor broke.
After a couple weeks of using this device i came to conclusion that my wood burner is to small for my house!
Price
A very good buy considering the low cost of this unit.
This little inexpensive unit gave me the ability to play with the registers and "balance out" air flow across all registers.
Don't let the low cost fool you.
In order to write this review i went back to amazon to review the specs and found the price had dropped $4.

Even though the sale was advertised as a prime item, it took 12 days to get the unit.

As part of the addition i removed my old central ac unit which cooled the first story and replaced it with a much larger heat pump

For the money its hard to beat wouldnt call it a professional quality tool but for getting some basic hvac measurements done around the house itll do just fine

As long as you no how to do the math in the area button to get the cerect cfm reading for the pipe you are going for a 6 inch duct pipe the math is 6x3

That is a link were a guy uses it and his notes at the bottom tells you how to do the math to help any one out watch video were he uses it and read his notes and you will see how its done
