Pros

Placement is not terribly difficult and certainly a bit less obtrusive to the view. The alarms are easy to install i removed the expired ones and installed the new ones with no issues. Easy to program and install.

These are a great, compact size, and they just as loud as the old behemoths. They also look very stylish due to their small size and smart design. These are small and discreet on walls and ceilings.

Cons

Firstly, it fails to detect actual smoke. My only thoughts is the sensing smoke mechanism is garbage and shouldn't be trusted.

Going to return them for a known brand. Buy they would not interconnect. This has to be a crime. They are only 2 yrs old.

The way they designed this product is asinine. Waste of $150.

Also, in the description it says that the battery is replaceable.

Very easy to install and the battery last for 10 years i installed six in my home in about 20 minutes.

It makes a very loud noise and it's supposed to last 10 years

I received another email couple hours later saying the replacement was shipped and i would receive it the next day.

Well i did receive it the next day and now all six unit are working again as they should.

Packaging/appearance

This one came well packaged and is easy to test.

Surprised when i opened the box, but it has all the noise power of the traditional size alarms.
