I returned the product however b/c i had to change the system for which i was originally needing this for.
Build quality is nice and the transfer speeds are very good.

I use this for loading files into lightroom from my z6 and z7 xqd cards.
Shipping
Transfers that would take minutes before now take seconds it is dramatically fast and faster than sd cards plugged into the laptop.
Packaging/appearance
It worked perfect with my imac was able to copy the firmware image onto the xqd card and then update the firmware to 3.
This reader is being used to read the xqd card in my camera.

Brought this because i dont really have anywhere safe to put my camera near the laptop when reading images off it and ive never felt comfortable with the usb3 lead plugged into the camera in case it gets knocked

What i am very pleased to see is that not only do i now have a way to read the cards without plugging he camera in but reading sony xqd cards is massively faster than usb3 on the nikon d500

Needed to upgrade the firmware on my nikon z6 tried to do it with the usb cable but that doesnt work
