Pros

It's wider then other boosters, so if your kiddo is * it would be great. It's the only booster i've found that the seatbelt doesn't get tangled up in it. It’s comfortable, sleek & smartly designed for cleaning up!

It’s very simple, sleek and stylish but maybe not the most comfortable for my son at least. Easy to install, easy to install and my son says it's super comfy. Secure and comfortable.

The seat has a wide base; yet fits in individual bench or bucket seating in car or van. Clicks in and out easily, latches stow if needed, base is grippy.

Cons

This is hugely problematic. Awful chemical smell permeating the entire car. Unacceptable to sell a kids geared product full of harmful chemicals.

The seat belt glider thing is awkward and you can’t remove it. The seat is too wide so it gets in the way of the buckle. It's an epic struggle to buckle the seatbelt -- at least in my volvo xc90.

Easy to use the rigid latch, color is nice, cushion is comfy and easy to clean (fabric zips off) no complaints.

It’s so cheaply made and it’s now getting replaced with another alta after buying one for my growth chart topping 3 yr old).

Once the seat is installed in a 2017 vw gti, the rear armrest rubs against the seat and is hard to take down and put up.

We have a chicco kitfit too, in comparison the alta is significantly more comfortable and feels nicer in terms of build/fabric quality.

Tried the clek booster, maxi cosi, over priced volvo booster, graco, and diono boosters.
