But what it really does it prevent the doors from closing all of the way if you’re not careful to close them firmly.

The fridge is separate from the freezer so you do not have to clean out the ice like in a combination fridge freezer model

It would be better to have one short shelf and one tall shelf rather than 2 shelves in equal height and neither can fit a tall bottle

Also the doors have a “brake” that soften the doors closure when closing

I can’t tell you how often the freezer door has remained slightly ajar and my ice cream has melted
