This would be 5 star except for the price at $3 each, which seems a little high to me.

I have to say when i opened the box and saw these valves i was impressed.
Competitiveness
I have tried a lot of different stuff and have a lot of different pieces and brands in use.
It did not accept rainbird 1/2 distribution hose that works with most similar fittings as it is too thick.
The last couple seasons, i have picked up a lot of different fittings from amazon with mixed results.

We purchased various kits at the outset but soon realized that the kits often have too much of one component and not enough of others mainly they seem to have an abundance of sprayers and emitters and not enough ts and connectors

What i ran into here was as expected the 1434 tubing i had was too thick to fit in the pushin connectors

For 1234 i still had some old stiff 34pokeaholeeverywhereyouwantaleakyconnection34 tubing that i was trying to use up and i had just used all my soft easytouse 1234 hose in my greenhouse

Heres what it comes down to and maybe my impression of what is newold and betterworse is not the same as that of others but basically these fittings require the older traditional style of 1434 hose but will only work with the newer to me at least soft 1234 hose
