Pros & Cons
Pros
These brackets are sturdy and easy to hang. They held my 1&1/2 wooden rod securely. They hold the wood dowel i purchased instead of a regular curtain rod very well.
This is for a rental and it truly spruces up the area. It's adjustable so it was easy to line it up with my current hardware. Easy to install.
These are the perfect solution. Yes, i recommend these brackets, if they are still available.
Cons
The inner tube is too small diameter, so droops when extended. These brackets are tack-welded in 3 places on the thin back plate where the rod is inserted.
Highlights
Quality
Although they have not been installed as yet, i am extremely pleased with the quality and functionality.
They could be slightly better value, but i am happy with the cost vs.
The previous ones bent and sagged with the weight.
Not sure what happened to the one that broke, but it was easily and cheaply replaced and is still there with the others.
