Since i wasn’t planning on putting a dog or anything else heavy in it i used the gaskets that are included in the installation kit to fit the mount on the handlebars tightened them down with the included screws then took the bottom screw out completely since it wouldn’t fit properly with the type of bike i have

That should have been included in the instructions and there should be more information about what type bike and handlebarspost combination you need for this setup

Also i thought it may be hard to steer my bike but there was no issue and i didnt even notice a difference from when the basket wasnt on the bike
