Zips are secure and there is a stud button to close at the top. Plenty of pockets for storing items as one is working. Front flap and zip pockets on the thighs.
Fit is comfortable around the waist. Elasticated waist with a single button fastening. Waistline has an elastic incorporated but still the belt is required for a better fit. Not tight around the * area.

Quality
The material quality is excellent and there are plenty of pockets that have a very good depth to them.
These are certainly well-made good quality trousers though which feel comfortable.
Don;t get me wrong, they are nice cargo trousers and made of decent quality cotton, but they are not heavy duty by any means.

With my old pair of 501s now being too revealing to even just do jobs in the garden the neighbours are elderly and i dont want to cause distress i thought these would be better suited

Having a 33 waist and chicken legs i thought the 32 would fit theyre actually really a size 32 so not much expansion room they fit me snugly around the waist and actually are the right size around the legs

I would wear knee pads if i had to crawl around a lot as i doubt they would last long
