Pros
Very good umbrella post holder. Our umbrella loves it. The item is actually more dark gray than black if color is a consideration.
The base keeps the patio umbrella in place even in windy weather. It comes pre-filled so you don't have to worry about trying to stuff it full of sand or cement. A screw holds the pole in place once it's installed.
Great buy. Free shipping is amazing.
Cons
This base is not very good for anyone who has anything more than the gentlest of breezes in their area. It showed up empty with instructions on how i should fill it with gravel or sand. Did not last a week.

Glad i purchased this for my sun umbrella as it’s very sturdy and stabilized it.
This base is well made and it looks good.
Have had it about 10 days and winds have been high the entire time and umbrella has not budged.
Between this heavy base and an umbrella cone wedge, our umbrella is stable in its table, no matter what the weather.

Good value and prime shipping helps with the 50lb weight.
But, for the price, it gets the job done.
It was less expensive on amazon than at local stores.
