I bought this stand after out table that held our old umbrella broke.
Price
Bought 3 of these at $64 each, they are awesome, very sturdy.
The price seems somewhat high but it is worth every penny after considering all the alternatives.
5 cu ft bag of pea gravel for $4.
It's pricey but totally worth every penny!
Packaging/appearance
It arrived in good condition and was easy to assemble.
Competitiveness
It fits underneath our round patio table (which previous purchase (different brand)) did not.
I suppose i'd purchase again, but if i found a similar product with a larger fill hole, i'd consider it instead.

The opening for sand or pebbles could be larger but you’re really only going to fill it one time
