This is the thickest & strongest cable i’ve had. I prefer the usb connection because in my experience, my bluetooth connection hasn't been as stable and there is sometimes some lag.

The drive is quite long and very stiff

It is definitely much stiffer than your standard network cable

I inserted this cable between an iomega ego hard disk and an hp laptop and observed how the drive was registered copied about 6 gb of data and disconnected
