We originally tried to use a usbc connector to connect all the devices but the monitor wouldnt work with 2 of the computers

Full disclosure the multi port adapter was considerably more expensive than the usbc connector something like 85 vs about 50

I thought i read that it did not need an external power source and for this reason i was disappointed but once i connected an external power supply the product worked as intended

There is a slight lag when moving 34windows34 like safari or opera from the imac screen to my asus 4234 monitor
