This is the best and most compatible with apple.

Cons

The entire os freezes from an i/o perspective each time this cycle occurs. I cannot tolerate the effects of the instability on my user experience.

The quality control on the t7 series is an absolute disgusting joke. Was scammed by samsung with this product. Which in my opinion defeats the purpose of the review section. Very dishonest. Be cautious using cameras, video cams etc.

Quality

Excellent for variety of games and applications especially high-end triple aaa games.

Seems very good quality just as others have noted.

I transferred some very large files to it, in fact exactly the same files i have on a regular 2tb external.

Now i use velcro cable ties around the drive and slap it on the back of the mac.

It was reduced by $90, bringing the cost to about $200.

I have some regular 2tb external drives but when i saw a reduced price on this t7 2tb ssd i ordered it right away.

Packaging/appearance

I've tried lots of drives over the past few years, but samsung ssd's tend to be the most reliable and reasonably priced for video work.
