Its weird my other cable that broke was wrapped in a braided durable cord however it broke on the plastic ends

The shape is kinda like a diamond shape if you could look down a direct cut end of the wire

While i love the sleek design of the cord it is sometimes hard to firmly grip onto the metal ends when trying to remove it from the phone or charger
