Most of the time it's plugged in, my laptop makes the monitor connect/disconnect noises. This is not a good device to purchase because it seems to be cheaply made and doesn't last long.

I have been surprised with such a high quality docking station with so many versatile features.
Works great, immediately identified by the laptop, gives an extra usb charging port on the desk, small and easy to have on the desk.
Pretty ticked that this product stopped supporting usb devices.
I was hesitant to buy this because my docking station provided by my employer is very large and heavy compared with this tiny gadget.
