Pros

Usb-c hub expands my tablet's capabilities at a great price. It's not some flimsy plastic although it could be a mix of metal and plastic. It’s very easy to use, but it does lag a little. The laptop, a lenova yoga running ubuntu linux (22.

The plug-in adapter itself makes a faint squealing noise. It is a little unsettling that the activity lights shows activity on both my switch and the the dock.

The camera is not recognized when plugged into the hub. My laptop slowly loses battery power, as if it were operating only from the battery. I know it's not the laptop because i don't have this issue when the docking station isn't plugged into it.

The bass response is terrible and the overall sound quality is laughably bad.

Fortunately, my m1 macbook air already has a headphone jack because the sound quality of the lionwei is bad.

This has been a fantastic value for the money.

This device has saved me so much money and frustration.

It's a good device for the price and it does what i wanted it to do, mostly.

Really not a big deal though, i just snap off the bottom of the shell and it fits fine and put it back on when i'm done.

Update: supplier contacted offering a full refund for the faulty device.

Competitiveness

This device uses silicon motion rather than displaylink (which has been problematic for me with other docking stations).

A similar setup at a local box store was well over $100, and i believe this still has more spaces.
