Pros

I prefer this adapter with dual hdmi ports as it is one less cord to disconnect when i want to use the laptop elsewhere.

No overheating during long hours of hdmi use. The only bad thing is that the lan port is not entirely stable when charged and you plug 2 monitors.

The adapter is essential for the new macbooks. The availability of micro sd drive is a great plus. What could be better is the length of usb-c cable connecting to the pc.

Cons

It fit loosely when plugged in but this was not the reason for the poor quality. I wish these manufacturers ran their products through qa testing before selling them to the public!

One of the usb inputs makes my wireless mouse lag pretty bad. Hdmi port stops working every 20-30 minutes, causing my monitor to go black. If you read the fine print, it says you can run two 4k displays at 30hz.

Worked great for about 6 weeks and then one of the hdmi ports just stopped working.

The recent os updates on macs make it impossible to extend beyond having 2 screens, which is frustrating.
